Associate Licensed Counselor

Specialty Areas: Anxiety, Grief & Loss, Trauma

Hi! I’m Emma.

I’m a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC) and I strive to provide my clients with a safe and non-judgmental space filled with compassion and understanding. I understand that life can feel incredibly overwhelming at times and some unexpected circumstances may make you feel hopeless or anxious. Sometimes, there are thoughts or worries that you can’t seem to shake. You may have experienced trauma, loss, or even a breakup that may make you feel weighed down and uneasy. My life has been personally influenced for the better through counseling, and I hope to share this positive impact with you, too. No matter what your situation may be, there is hope. There is a light amidst the darkness and I will walk alongside you until you feel empowered and full of hope.

I am trained in and have seen the most benefit from integrating Cognitive Behavioral and Person-Centered Therapies in my work with clients. This integrative approach creates space for my clients to take sessions at their own pace and comfort, while also equipping them with practical tools and strategies to take control of the anxieties and negativity of their daily lives. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, so I am intentional about ensuring that my clients receive personalized care that is unique to their personality and circumstances. I enjoy counseling young children, adolescents/teens, and adults, and I would be honored to support you.

If you are a parent reading this, I would love to walk alongside your child or teenager as they discover who they are and the person they are capable of becoming. Finding the right support for your child can feel overwhelming, but rest assured, I will provide a safe, comforting, and peaceful space for your child that encourages vulnerability and growth.

To have me as your counselor means having someone with an unwavering commitment to listening without judgment, supporting without reservation, and empowering you to discover your inner resilience.

For clients seeking faith-based counseling, I love to incorporate faith into the counseling process. If this is what you’re looking for, I would be delighted to come alongside you and provide support from a Biblical lens.
