Hi, I’m Livvie!

I’m a Board-Certified Counselor (NCC) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) dually licensed in Alabama and Tennessee. As a counselor, I feel deeply honored to walk alongside people through some of life’s most difficult and tender seasons. I believe healing begins in an environment that focuses on genuine connection-one where you can be met with warmth, honesty, and compassion. My hope is to create that space for each client.

I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals across the lifespan, from early childhood through late adulthood, and supporting people through a wide range of mental health challenges. My clinical approach is rooted in Person Centered therapy and Motivational Interviewing while integrating techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. My training includes Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), along with experience working with complex concerns including psychotic disorders, personality disorders, and chronic suicidal ideation. These experiences have given me an appreciation for the uniqueness of each person’s story and remind me that no diagnosis or difficult season defines a person.

When meaningful to the client, I also enjoy integrating a spiritual lens into counseling, honoring the ways faith and spirituality can offer comfort, strength, purpose, and hope.

Fun Facts:

I am originally from Mississippi and recently moved to Auburn from Tennessee with my husband, baby girl, and golden doodle! In my free time I enjoy thrifting and antiquing, reading, and indulging in reality TV! Due to my love for celebrity news I frequently listen to the pop culture podcast “The Toast.”
