Elle McDonald

Administrative Assistant

About Me:

My name is Elle McDonald, and I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I feel incredibly grateful to be working alongside the compassionate providers here at A Quiet Place Counseling, many of whom I deeply admire and hope to follow in their footsteps as I grow into my own counseling role. What drives me to continue pursuing counseling as a career is the example I see in the counselors around me. The way they provide support in a time of need, offering a neutral space and a listening ear in their clients’ lives. I hope to embody that same presence for my future clients, as well as for those who call into AQPC for a consultation, rescheduling, or any questions, reminding them that they are never alone in their journey.

What I Love About My Role:

I love being able to support both our team and our clients in meaningful ways, whether that’s through organization, communication, or simply helping things run smoothly behind the scenes. One of my favorite parts of this role is being a welcoming first point of contact! Whether someone is calling to schedule, reschedule, or just ask a question, it brings me joy to create a kind, helpful space on the other end of the line and to know that even in small ways, I’m helping clients feel cared for and at ease.

Fun Facts:

When I’m not busy going on walks and petting all of the dogs in the Auburn area, I can usually be found reading a good book, spending time with loved ones, or traveling with friends and family. Life feels fullest when I get to combine adventure, connection, and plenty of puppy pets along the way!
