Group Therapy
Working together in a group setting can be a powerful way to learn, grow, and feel connected to other people who are experiencing similar challenges. Our priority is to create an environment where group members feel respected, supported, and heard in order for you to get the most out of your group experience. Our licensed counselors incorporate research-supported therapeutic techniques and practical skill building to ensure that you’re receiving intentional and quality care that will be well worth your time, energy, and investment.
So if any of these sound like you…
- You keep worrying about the same problem over and over
- You want to stop feeling so alone in what you’re going through
- You’re interested in counseling, but want to try something lower pressure than individual counseling
- You wish you felt more understood by others
- You’re looking for expert support to improve your well-being
…Then group therapy could be right for you.
Grief Support Group
At A Quiet Place Counseling, we recognize the importance of addressing grief, and we are happy to announce that grief support group is in the works! It will be led by our wonderful counselor, Emma Johnson, who is deeply passionate about helping individuals connect through their grief, creating a safe space for the many ways grief presents itself. Her compassionate approach empowers participants to find healing by identifying with other’s grief stories and offering support and understanding during this difficult journey.
Emma’s Heart Behind This…
“There is nothing quite as devastatingly painful as losing a beloved person in your life. Navigating grief can feel confusing, hopeless, and even isolating. I know first hand how lonely the grief journey can be, and I have personally benefitted from connecting with other grieving individuals. I want to provide a safe space for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one to be able to process, remember, mourn, and grow together. We will never forget the ones we have lost, but together, we can find a sense of healing and purpose, one day at a time.” – Emma Johnson, MA, ALC, NCC
