Counseling Approach

I use a collaborative, strengths-based approach, applying techniques from cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) to modify unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, while also addressing interpersonal stressors that are contributing to distress. Using a strengths-based approach allows me to help my clients gain confidence in their abilities to effectively cope with the challenges they are facing.
